Clarissa Ward : I think a lot of people outside that airport, particularly those taking the kinds of extreme actions we're talking about, would like to know if this isn't failure - what does failure look like exactly?

Clarissa Ward, CNN's chief international correspondent who's been reporting from Kabul, called what she's witnessed an "absolute mess" and offered a stunning rebuke to Biden's claim to ABC News that the pullout of troops out of Afghanistan which quickly resulted in a takeover by the Taliban was not a "failure."

"I think a lot of people outside that airport, particularly those taking the kind of extreme actions we're just talking about would like to know if this isn't a failure, what does failure look like exactly?" Ward asked .

Here’s what Clarissa Ward had to say:

“The panic, the lack of clear information. The rumor mill is in overdrive, there’s hysteria. You have Taliban fighters with whips, with guns. You have US and UK soldiers who are not allowing people in. You have mixed messaging coming through about what kind of paperwork you need, how you can get on a flight and where you can go. It is just an absolute mess.

And we heard President Biden say yesterday in his comments to ABC News that this is not a failure. I think a lot of people outside that airport, particularly those taking the kinds of extreme actions we were just talking about, would like to know, if this isn’t failure, what does failure look like exactly?”

Look, I’m not here to toot CNN’s horn or anything of the sort. But the point is that Biden has clearly lost even his fanboy network CNN, showing just how much of an abysmal failure this really is. Because if there was any way they find to support Biden on this, they would. But there’s not. Almost everyone sees this for what this is (except for a few propagandist morons over at MSNBC).

CNN' Clarissa Ward to Pentagon: I'm the one who has to look our allies in the eyes

CNN's Clarissa Ward, reporting live from Kabul, presses Pentagon press secretary John Kirby on whether the US allies still on the ground in Afghanistan can trust that they "will not be abandoned" following the Taliban's takeover.

In other words, it’s up to these Americans to get to the airport themselves and if they can’t, good luck living under Taliban rule. What a fiasco.

Do you know when it would have been ideal to get these Americans out of Kabul? BEFORE BIDEN PULLED OUR TROOPS OUT OF THE COUNTRY. Hell, even last week before the Taliban made it to Kabul would have been better than trying to do it now.

Biden said yesterday they planned for every contingency, but this was clearly a bold-faced lie to the entire country. What a catastrophe.
